Originating from Japan, the term "Ikigai" combines the words "iki," meaning life, and "gai," meaning worth or value. Discovering your Ikigai is about finding purpose and joy in life through activities that bring you satisfaction and happiness.


What is Ikigai?


Ikigai is a concept that encourages individuals to find a balance between what they love, what they are good at, what the world needs, and what they can be paid for. My Ikigai: Practising Physiotherapy


I feel very fortunate to have discovered my Ikigai, which is the practice of physiotherapy. Through physiotherapy, I get to be useful and help people live better and more comfortable lives. It's incredibly rewarding to see my patients improve and regain their mobility, which in turn enhances their quality of life.
